WAR Joins the BioWare Social Network!

Greetings!

Over the past year we have worked to grow a collaborative forum community where all players can come and get important information or just talk about the game they play. In less than 18 months you have totaled over 120 million page views with nearly 1 million posts across 80 thousand discussions leaving no doubt about your dedication and passion for WAR.

As we continue to integrate with the BioWare family we are pleased to announce our plans to bring two great communities together. Next week the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning forums will join the BioWare Social Network where you will have the benefits of being a part of a larger community, one with a passion for gaming as big as our own.

We'll be sure to provide clear instructions and information next week before the transition. For now you don't have to do anything and can continue to use these forums normally while we iron out all the details.

We have put together a brief FAQ below - have a great weekend!

Q: How do I create my new forum account?

Currently, you do not need to take any action. We will provide instructions next week when the new forums are available for use.

Q: Will my existing forum profile and posts be transferred to the BioWare Social Network?

A: No, this is clean slate. We will provide an archive of the old forums in the near future.

Q: If I have a preexisting BioWare Social Network Account, do I need to create a new account?

A: No! Your current BioWare Social Network account can be associated with your WAR account!

Q: Who will be able to post in the WAR: BioWare Social Network forums?

A: Active subscribers and Endless Trial accounts will be able to post in all of the same forums they are currently able to post in.

Q: Will the WAR Development team continue to post on these new boards?

A: Absolutely! The WAR Team will carry their high level of communications over to the new BioWare Social Network.

Q: Will I have to reenter all of my profile information?

A: Yes, players will have the opportunity to set up new profiles as part of the Account Creation process for the BioWare Social Network.

Q: Am I required to select a new display name?

A: Yes. All players will be required to choose a display name as part of the BioWare Social Network account creation process.

Q: Will the link from the WAR main page and Herald still take me to the forums?

A: Yes! Visitors will automatically be redirected to the new WAR: BioWare Social Network forums by visiting http://forums.warhammeronline.com or by clicking on the links provided on the Herald and the WAR main page.

Q: Will my forum account continue to remain associated with the Realm WAR application?

A: No, but you will be able to choose from a new selection of High-Rez avatars featuring your favorite careers. You will still be able to log into the Realm WAR page using your WAR credentials.

Q: Will the new BioWare SocialNetwork site have a WAR theme?

A: Yes, the new BioWare Social Network WAR forums will have a Warhammer theme as the default setting.
